This year we are offering a 90 minute event that will be starting at the same time as the three hour event. Half the time, half the price, but no pizza. This is great for first timers daunted at the idea of three hours.
Tawa offers a variety of terrain - urban on flat and low hills, bush and forest on higher hills, watched over by Rangituhi (Colonial Knob) - something for everyone.
Some of the bush tracks can be very slippery when wet - so watch the weather and plan accordingly. Some of the secondary trails have blackberry or gorse - main tracks are mostly clear.
This is a re-run of last year's Tawa event, which was postponed due to terrential weather.
Start / Finish is Grasslees Reserve, Davies Street, Tawa (park near Tawa Pool)
