CSW Event and OY event taking place at Battle Hill Farm Forest Park on Paekakariki Hill Rd. Please follow directions of parking wardens and carpool where possible. Six courses.

White and Yellow courses will start near the event centre. For Orange and Red courses there is a 30 minute walk to the Start (2.3km, 140m climb). The last part is uphill, up a forest road, which will reduce climb on the courses. It is nowhere near as steep as the walk to the start at Stratton St and enables us to use the forest on the other side of transmission gully.

This is a working farm. Dogs are not permitted, even in vehicles.

Hazards – Parts of the course are steep and slippery, especially if it is wet. There are tree roots in the forest and branches at eye height, as well as uneven ground. Please take care. Watch out for mountain bikers and other users. There is some livestock so please detour around them. Parts of the course are exposed to the weather so look at the conditions on the day and wear appropriate clothing.

It is OHV policy that whistles should be carried at Non Urban events. This is a Non Urban event, so please carry a whistle
