Training for junior orienteers in OHV or at school in the Hutt Valley. Bill Trompetter and I want to give the HVHS squad some more challenging training, plus we want to widen this to all other juniors in the club whatever school you go to. (There were over 30 of you at CSW1.) I've just updated this nice little map and have set course options for yellow-advancing-to- orange and orange-advancing-to-red. We'll be finished before noon and will probably decamp to the Wainui Maccas.
Couple more things. Print your own map, from the links below. Use the "best" setting on your printer, if you don't have access to one please ask. You'll absolutely need a compass, and OHV has a rule that whistles are carried in non-urban evens. Come prepared for mud, and a bit of standing round discussing, so a warm top in a small backpack would be sensible.

NB this link was wrong until Sat 9:30pm but I'll print copies of the right maps. Sorry!
You'll notice these use pictorial control descriptions. If you haven't used them before here's a fun way to learn: www.octavian-droobers.org/index.php/coaching/on-line-quizzes/280-control-description-training
