The NavQuest is a series of 3hr rogaines aimed at secondary school students, their families and teachers. Members of the public are more than welcome to join in by entering in the open category. The cost is just $15 for school students and $25 for adults. Please go to www.opc.org.nz for more information and to register a team online. There will only be a limited number of maps available for entry on the day. This NavQuest event is being organised as a partnership between The Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre of New Zealand (OPC) and Orienteering Bay of Plenty. Registration opens at 8.30am with a briefing at 9.30am, after which the maps will be handed out. The rogaine will then run between 10.00am and 1.00pm. A spot prize draw and prizegiving will follow shortly after the finish.
