You must bring your own water (including a clearly named water bottle for courses 1 and 2 if you want water mid-course).

Forest gate entry/exit will be 09:00am to 11:00am and 12:00pm to 15:00pm. The forest gate will be locked at other times.

Terrain: Pine forest on coastal dunes. Mix of very runnable areas and other areas with large amounts of fallen trees/brashings.

Unusual features

Unusual Map feature: There may be no control descriptions printed on the maps for the red courses. There will be loose control descriptions.

Unusual Hazard: The forest has recently been pest control treated. Avoid any dead animals. We have not found any residual pest control pellets, but please avoid these if you do find some.

Start procedure: To minimise gathering potential we will be using a TWO minute start box procedure (check on entry; box 1 =  control descriptions, box 2 = maps and start).
