Taupo Town Spring Series

Each event uses a specific and different part of the town and prior to each event we will advise the exact location of the event centre in subsequent newsletters and on our website.

  We will only have a limited number of on-the-day entries available and a $5 On-the-Day fee will be added to these entries
• Start times: - between 10:00am and 11:00am
  The MapRun app will be active for 2 weeks (until 6pm Saturday, 25th November ) in case you can't make it on Sunday or would like to do another course later.
• What to bring: compass (unless you can tell where north is when the sun isn't out), A4 plastic bag for the map and a charged phone with MapRun6 installed
• Course options: 2 set courses and a rogaine either on foot or bike
  • Foot
    • Middle  - around 45 minutes
    • Long - around  1 hour 15 minutes
    • Rogaine  - 60 or 90 minutes
  • MTB
    • Middle,
    • long and
    • Rogaine  60 minutes
  • Can be done in teams
• Event fees ( for each event) 
  • Individuals  $7 for members and $12 for non-members.
  • Teams (2 to 5 people)  $12 for members and $17 for non-members.
  • Entry fee includes 1 copy of the map
  • Extra maps of any of the courses (You could do middle , long and rogaine over the 2 week period if you want or have more than one map for your team ) are $3 each for members and $6 for non-members.
