First event of the year .

Complex map around the cemetery. Challenging courses for Orienteers and Easy courses for Newcomers and beginners / All welcome .

Three courses are available:

• Long (technically demanding)
• Medium (still difficult but a little shorter than the long)
• Short Easy (unsurprisingly shorter and easier)

College Sport Wellington participants enter by their school grade as boys/gender neutral and girls as senior (years 12, 13), intermediate (years 10, 11), and junior (year 9), and year 7/8. This will put you on the following courses:

• CSW senior boys run Long
• CSW senior girls and Intermediate girls and boys Medium
• CSW juniors, year 7/8, primary run Short.
• Public can run whichever course you choose

• uneven paving
• chain-link fences
• members of the public maybe on-site visiting graves
• other competitors coming around blind corners

• garden beds and graves (Marked olive green)
• construction zones
• private residences

Additional hazards on Long course:

• Mountainbikes – be ready to step aside if necessary
• Steep and slippery slopes – grippy shoes needed
• Forest vegetation – vines, low branches, prickles

Pre-entry preferred. Pre-entries close at midnight Tuesday 10 February. Start times are 6-7.00pm.
