Event Style

Score event. One hour to punch as many controls as you can. Some controls are worth more points than others. Lose 10 points for every minute you are late after the 60-minute cut-off.

Event terrain

Street and Wellington Bush terrain, with a steep and slippery path network.

Registration/Download will be in Crofton Downs Station Car Park. Please find parking on surrounding streets where possible so as not to block the station car park for rail users.

Head west until you hit Churchill Drive/Waikowhai Street

Specific Hazards and Notes:

• Kaiwharawhara Stream is OUT OF BOUNDS. The recent rains mean there is a lot of water flowing so you MUST cross using the available bridges.
• Slips have made some of the paths narrower and slippery, and fallen trees and branches may make tracks more difficult to pass than usual. Please take care.
• Large cliffs - stay out of Out-of-Bounds areas marked on the map
• Do not enter the railway corridor.

COVID-19

• Please ensure you maintain physical distancing from others not in your group.
• Please do not come to the event if you have any cold or flu symptoms, or if you or anyone from your household is awaiting COVID test results.
• We recommend that people wear face coverings while in the event centre.
