The 2020 North Island Secondary School Orienteering Championships event will be run between Saturday 26th to Monday 28th September 2020. Details are now available and entries are open online.

The 2020 NISS Orienteering Champs are officially sanctioned by the NZSSSC and include Years 7 and 8. The championships are being hosted by Counties Manukau Orienteering Club Inc (CMOC) in venues in Manukau, Waiuku Forest and Waiuku Farms

NISS Sprint Orienteering Champs – Saturday 26th September 2020

• Allocated Starts times from: 2:00pm
• Location: Manukau area
• Map: Mountford Park
• Terrain: School grounds and Park
• Levels available for both Championship (experienced orienteers) and Standard (for those with less experience).

NISS Individual Orienteering Champs – Sunday 27th September 2020

• Allocated Start times from 10:00am
• Location: 30 mins from Bombay
• Map: Waiuku Forest
• Terrain: Undulating Pine Forest
• Levels available for Championship (experienced orienteers), Standard (for those with less experience) and Novice (for first year orienteers).

NISS Relay Orienteering Champs – Monday 28th September 2020

• Allocated Start Times from 10:00am
• Location: 30 mins from Bombay
• Map: Waiuku Farms
• Terrain: Undulating Farmland
• Level: Standard only
