Are you looking for an opportunity to recognise and honour orienteers who have made a significant contribution to your club during 2022?  If so, it’s time to start thinking about awards and nominations. Orienteering NZ, will be accepting nominations for a variety of awards to honour individuals who have made a significant contribution within our sport. 

We are looking for people who have gone above and beyond, have made a real difference or thrown themselves into an amazing task that has helped the sport. Do you know someone who has made an amazing impact? We have nominations open for the Coach of the Year, Administrator of the Year and the Innovation award.

Applications must be made through clubs and will be open from the 1st February to 31 March 2023 – plenty of time to send an email to your club secretary or to have a chat to a committee member on the side of your club’s next OY!  Awards will be presented as part of the annual ONZ Awards Ceremony which takes place during the National Championships in Easter 2023. If you have any questions about the process please email Christo, our GM.
