An embargo is in place for the National 2019 Sprint Distance Championship event on Good Friday within the Ōamaru city centre.

A strict embargo for the area is defined on Ōamaru (town) map attached. This embargo applies until the event on 19th April 2019.

With respect to the Middle, Long distance and Relay events, we are not embargoing these other areas as they are all private land. We expect Orienteers to be respectful of all these areas and heed the right to keep the areas ‘fresh’ and equitable for all.
