Nathan Fa’avae has been made an Officer of the New Zealand order of merit in the New Year honours for his remarkable career in Adventure racing and his team’s success on the world stage.

Nathan has put adventure racing on the map and his family are enthusiastic participants in all adventure navigation sports, with his son Zefa representing NZ in Portugal in orienteering last year. All the family will be representing NZ at the 2023 Oceania Orienteering Championships Carnival in Tasmania very soon.
