Saturday 26 March: Middle distance Glenlean First start 1 pm
Planner: Lizzie Ingham; mature pine forest with some leafy under-storey rock and complex contour detail.
Sunday 27 March: Long distance Blairlogie/Glenlean First start 10 am
Planner: Gene Beveridge; mature pine forest, moderately steep gully-spur with some rock and significant route choice.
Courses and winning times
There will be only 2 courses, NOL and JWOC trials will run the same. Estimated winning times will be 30-35 minutes for the middle distance, for the long distance 80 minutes for the men and 70 minutes for the women.
Entry details
As New Zealand is in Covid Protection Level Red the field will be limited to a maximum of 100 athletes.
Link for entries will be posted shortly. Closing date of 11.59 pm Sunday 20 March.
Entry fees are $20 per race.
Covid precautions
- All entrants must be double vaccinated against Covid-19 and in possession of a valid vaccination pass.
- As above the number of entries is strictly limited to keep the number of athletes below 100.
- Whilst at the events all athletes and officials must where face masks at all times except when actually running.
- There will be no results.
Travel and Accommodation
The areas are approximately 25 km east of Masterton (allow 30-45 minutes). Masterton is the logical place for accommodation.
