Counties Manukau Orienteering Club and Orienteering Waikato are thrilled to be hosting the NZ
Orienteering Championships 2027 in and around the Waikato and Counties Manukau regions, from
Friday 26 March 2027 to Monday 29 March 2027. The following embargoes will apply to competition
areas.

An embargo is a restriction, which prevents athletes accessing a competition area prior to the
competition taking place.

All athletes and coaches attending the NZ Championships must abide by these embargoes leading up
to the events, and anyone breaching these risks disqualification and will be referred to Orienteering
New Zealand.
