PAPO welcomes all those new to the sport as well as experienced school-aged orienteers to the NZ Secondary School Orienteering Champs in July.  As usual, will have a family-friendly atmosphere and there will be public races for all other family members, so make time to come to Christchurch. Entries will open in late March. 

NZ Secondary Schools Orienteering Champs:

• Thursday 16th July 2026 – NZSS orienteering Relay. Kairaki. 
Mass start at 1pm. 
• Friday 17th July 2026 – NZSS orienteering Long Distance. Waikuku.
Starts from 10.30am.
• Saturday 18th July 2026 -NZSS orienteering Sprint. Lincoln University.
Starts from 10.30am.

NZ Secondary Schools Rogaine Champs:

• Sunday 19th July 2026 -NZSS rogaine champs. Port Hills (based at Victoria Park). 3-hour rogaine for all ages. Mass start at 9.30am, finish by 12.30pm.
