The Oceania Sprint Championships will take place between 26 January and 6 February, with events in both New Plymouth and Auckland. As well as the first ever Oceania KO Sprint Championships, the Oceania Sprint Championships, and the Oceania Sprint relay Championships, there will two multi-sprint series: Lonely Mountain Sprints in Taranaki, and Triple Crown Sprints in Auckland.

Various areas in both centres are now embargoed to anyone who wishes to compete at OOC2024. Orienteers are not allowed to use the areas for training or anything other than the specified purposes. An exception is made for already timetabled events run by Orienteering Taranaki or Auckland orienteering Club.
Some areas will be released from embargo towards the end of 2023.
