We are planning a Club Forum on Thu 26th Oct between 7:30 and 9:30pm, which is open to all members. The purpose of the Club forum is to involve the orienteering community in discussions about challenges and opportunities that the sport is grappling with, and get community input to these that will be useful at both club and national levels.
This year we will be sharing some highlights from recent member survey, and in particular focusing on 3 things:
- Club/Sport health – where are we strong as a sport, where do we need to pay attention?
- Landowner relationships – what does good practice look like, how can we safeguard access to land and maps effectively?
- ONZ overview – this is a recurring theme, questions around what actually ONZ does, so we will be providing a summary of this to help people understand what ONZ does, how it delivers value, what clubs get for their money (hint – it is more than providing insurance cover….)
There will be pre reading sent out to registered attendees the week prior to the event, and we ask that people RSVP here by 20th October to signal their interest in attending.
We look forward to seeing you there, and if you have any questions please get in touch with me or Christo – email@example.com
