Trials for the New Zealand teams for both the World Orienteering Championships (WOC) 2018 and the Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) 2018 will be held at the 2018 ONZ Championships, 30 March – 1 April 2018. At the discretion of the selectors there may be a further trial for JWOC. If this is the case the venue and date will be announced no later than 1 January 2018.

A call for nominations for both WOC and JWOC will be made in due course, outlining the specific selection criteria for each event.
