The Board met at the start of the month (we’ve been trialling 2x meetings a term this year rather than monthly as many on the Board have kids and are off on holidays in school holidays), we finalised updates to a number of policies (G1 Selection Policy, G1 Appendix – Selection Principles and Criteria), G3 Appeals Policy, G6 International Team Funding). These were updates based on recommendations from recent selection appeals and aim to provide more clarity to selectors and athletes as well as more clarity of what is funded by ONZ in G6 International Team Funding.

The Board reaffirmed our commitment to the code of conduct and Christo is including it in this Compass Point to keep it fresh in our minds, and a reminder that it applies to all athletes, officials and supporters.

We dedicated a whole separate meeting to JWOC organisation and our focus over the next few months remains on setting up the LOC and administration around that.
