It’s hard to believe we are almost into March! We have an exciting year ahead for orienteering, Nationals at Easter hosted by PAPO is just around the corner. Many of our athletes will also be getting into their training in preparation for summer orienteering in Europe. Our selectors have been busy choosing our international teams. A big thanks from the Board to our selectors for their work in the background.

The 2025 business plan is now approved and we’ll progress work on the initiatives in there. Two key priorities for the Board is are how we can support clubs to put on large events, and to develop a schools strategy. It’s great to see a couple of new people put their hands up to join the Sustainability Advisory Group, so it will be neat to see what ideas for improving our footprint and impact on the places we love to run in will be. Lastly, but equally exciting! The Board have a plan to refresh the strategic plan and will be consulting with clubs and members over the year before finalising this at the end of the year.
