NZ Team Announcement for the Australia – New Zealand Challenge that will take place as part of the Oceania Championships held in New South Wales and Victoria, Australia from 28 September to 6 October 2019.

Entries for Oceania 2019 Carnival close 31st August 2019.  Competition starts in New South Wales, Australia with the Oceania Sprint at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga on the afternoon of Saturday 28 September 2019 and concludes with the Oceania Middle in Victoria at Beechworth on the morning of Sunday 6 October 2019.

Applications are invited for the volunteer position of Orienteering NZ ANZ Challenge (Oceania) Team Manager 2017. Applications close: 22 December 2016. The Team Manager is appointed by Orienteering NZ to lead and manage a Team, once selected, of elite athletes to represent New Zealand at the Oceania Championships.

Although orienteering activity has been somewhat scarce during November there has been a lot going on behind the scenes. This includes putting together as far as possible details of training camps in the first half of the year, organizing dates for trials for various teams, and an entertaining weekend of having various members of the HP Squads test running courses for WMOC2017 in Woodhill Forest.

The ANZ Schools Test Match will be held in Rotorua on 19-20 April 2017.
