A strict embargo is in place on two areas in Woodhill Forest with respect to NZ Orienteering Championships 2018. The embargo applies until the events on 31 March, 1st and 2nd April 2018.
All people aiming to compete in the NZ MTBO Champs on 18-20 November 2016, should note the following embargo notices.
The confirmed NZ Junior and Senior Pinestars team selected to compete against their Bushrangers counterparts at the forthcoming Australian Championship Carnival to be held in Queensland between 24 September and 2 October 2016.
Wellington Orienteering Club and Orienteering Hutt Valley invite you to 3 days of coastal dune and pine forest orienteering over the Queen’s Birthday weekend, on the Horowhenua coast, including two IOF World Ranking Events.
A revision of courses grades for schools orienteering championships is proposed. This is rationalised on purpose of the championships, increasing experience and training opportunities for juniors, and the success of Year 7/8 championships in recent years. No changes to the grades for sprint or relay competitions are proposed.
Selection Notice for New Zealand Team – The World Orienteering Championships for 2016 will be held in Stromstad-Tonum, Sweden from 20-28 August 2016.
Orienteering Waikato looks forward to welcoming competitors to NZSS2016 on July 21-23 2016.
The event will be based at St Peters School in Cambridge which will provide a fantastic centre for 3 days of top class orienteering.
