The elite knock-out sprint, a WOC 2020 trial, takes place on Saturday at the Lonely Mountain Sprints in New Plymouth. There will be live tracking of both the women’s and men’s finals. ONZ would like to thank everyone who contributed to the new Major Events Allocation System that comes into effect in 2020. The ONZ Major Events Allocation System 2019 document explains the new system, its intent, and the initial 2020-2023 calendar. 

The two areas of Woodhill Forest and adjacent land are embargoed to any participants in the JWOC/WUOC trial and public races being held in Auckland on Saturday 21 March (middle) and Sunday 22 March (long) 2020.

The European Youth Orienteering Championships (EYOC) are taking place in Grodno, Belarus on Thursday 27th June through to Sunday 30th June 2019. NZ orienteers are travelling independently to the European Youth Orienteering Champs in Belarus. 

The popular Rotorua based Great Forest Rogaine is back on 27 July 2019.  The event offers 3 and 6 hour foot and mountain bike (MTB) options.  This year for the first time there is an e-bike category.
