The ONZ Mapping Committee have prepared two information summaries for NZ Orienteers and Mappers on the new ISOM2017 mapping specification changes.
Advice for NZ mappers regarding the changeover to the new IOF ISOM2017 mapping specification for standard orienteering events.
The IOF has agreed a new mapping specification for standard orienteering events. Over the next few years you will run on a mixture of old (ISOM 2000) and new (ISOM 2017) mapping. The organisers will make it clear what you are going to get.

The mapping committee has decided to form a mapping bulletin, which will encompass all orienteering mapping related news in New Zealand.
In light of the discussion around the policy on International Team Funding at the AGM, the ONZ Council invites feedback on the revised policy. Feedback closes Sunday 11 June 2016.

A revision of courses grades for schools orienteering championships is proposed. This is rationalised on purpose of the championships, increasing experience and training opportunities for juniors, and the success of Year 7/8 championships in recent years. No changes to the grades for sprint or relay competitions are proposed.
