The first two trailers of 4 in a series to introduce the 2016 Australian School Orienteering Championships to be held on the Scenic Rim of SE Queensland Australia. A New Zealand Secondary Schools Team is to be selected to compete for the Southern Cross Trophy against the six Australian states and the Australian Capital Territory in the 2016 Australian Schools Championships.

Two vacancies for New Zealand Schools Team 2016 competing in Queensland (Australian Championships carnival) 24 September to 2 October 2016.

A revision of courses grades for schools orienteering championships is proposed. This is rationalised on purpose of the championships, increasing experience and training opportunities for juniors, and the success of Year 7/8 championships in recent years. No changes to the grades for sprint or relay competitions are proposed.

Entries are now open for the NZ Schools Orienteering Champs being hosted by Nelson Orienteering Club from 16-18 July 2015. Bulletin 1 is available for download. Entries close 26th June 2015.
