2019 Orienteering NZ Council Vacancies

Orienteering NZ is inviting applications from suitable applicants for two vacancies on the Council.

The Orienteering NZ Council is a governance Council, which means we are committed to ensuring the best interests of orienteering in NZ are met.
Council members are elected by the membership for a term of 3 years.
The Council meets regularly during the year – usually February to November – via video conference and at least one face-to-face workshop for planning purposes.

2019 Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) Coach


  • From appointment to the completion of the competition (approximately).
  • The Junior World Orienteering Championships for 2019 will be held in Denmark 6-12 July 2019. (Travel to/from championships and pre-event training have not been included in these dates).


  • The primary role of the JWOC Coach is to assist the NZ representative team at JWOC to perform to the best of their ability and to improve upon previous results achieved by New Zealand representative teams at JWOC.
