The World Orienteering Championships (WOC2025) are from July 8–12, 2025 with the main event hub in Tahko, with competition arenas also in Neulaniemi (Kuopio) and the Puijo Stadium area (Kuopio).  The region is Suvo, and Kuopio, the capital of this Finnish lakeland area with wilderness that has ‘thousands of lakes’. The World Championships draws orienteers from around 50 different countries, and the Fin5 Orienteering Week and WOC tour that runs alongside WOC   typically attracts an average of 3,500 participants each year.  WOC PROGRAMME
