North West Orienteering Club have had many enquiries from Australia after their advertorial in the Australian Orienteer, and expect many to use this weekend as a chance to experience this terrain as a lead up to the World Masters in 2017.

- Test match between Australia’s Bushrangers and New Zealand’s Pinestars at the senior level (and hopefully also at junior level).
- Trials for the New Zealand Secondary School team to contest the Southern Cross Challenge in September.
- Auckland Orienteering Champs 2015 (Long is Waioneke; Middle is Sunday morning race)
The events are open for anyone to enter, with 11 courses offered across 41 age group categories.
