The New Zealand Pinestars have overcome the Australian Bushrangers in the annual Test Match held at the Queens Birthday 3-day in Woodhill Forest. Although the Australians prevailed in W21E, New Zealand were convincing winners in the other three classes. In M21E, W21E and M20 there were also fascinating personal batteles between the top athletes from each country. In M21E Gene Beveridge took the honours with two wins and a second place (to Matt Ogden on day 1) on each occassion holding the well performed Simon Uphill. In W21E the ever green Natasha Key took two wins while the other went to Imogene Scott, while in M20 Max Griffiths had an impressive weekend having two second placings behind Aston Key before taking a narrow win on day 3. NZL were totally dominant in W20, where, to be fair, the visitors had struggled to put out a team, with Marisol Hunter having a win and two second places, bothy behind Jenna Tidswell.
