Tasmania, 2-10 January 2015

Friday 2 January Prologue Sprint
Saturday 3 January Event 1 – Sprint Distance
Thursday 8 January Event 2 – Middle Distance
Friday 9 January Model event
Saturday 10 January Event 3 – Long Distance

 

IOF Special Rules for the World Cup 2015

Australia and New Zealand get 10 places (10 male and 10 female) and all other nations get 8 places for each event.

 

Criteria for Selection

Selection Trials for the 2015 World Cup – Competitions 1-3 will take place at the 2014 South Island Orienteering Championships 15-16 November 2014 in Geraldine.

All athletes interested in selection for the 2015 World Cup – Competitions 1-3 should notify the Convenor of Selectors, Peter Watson [prwatson@xtra.co.nz], by 1 November 2014, and should plan to compete in all of the trial events.

Overseas-based athletes who are unable to return to New Zealand for the trial events will be judged on their performance World Ranking Events held during the period 1 January 2014 to 16 November 2014.  These events must be nominated to the Convenor of Selectors by 1 October 2014.
