The 2019 MTBO World Championships and Junior World Championships will be held in Denmark, 28 July – 3 August 2019.

Selection Criteria

As per the Orienteering NZ G1 Selection Policy, athletes will be selected on the basis of known form.

Known form will include results from all known races with emphasis on the recent 2018 NZ MTBO Champs, Australian Champs, or World Champs performances.

Please include any relevant recent results in your application.

Athlete Eligibility

Eligibility for selection in a New Zealand team shall be subject to the athlete being a current financial member of an Orienteering NZ.

All MTBO orienteers interested in selection for the 2019 WMTBOC  and JWMTBOC team shall notify their interest, your club, year of birth, age class (junior or open) – remembering that your age class is determined by your age at 31/12/2019 and cell phone number to the Convenor of MTBO selectors, Peter Swanson (peteswanson64@gmail.com) by 31 March 2019.
