Tim Robertson has shown again that he has earned a place among the elite sprinters of world orienteering with a 7th place in this mornings European Championships (World Cup Round 2) sprint race in Jesenik, Czech Republic. This backs up his 5th place in Round 1 of the World Cup in Poland earlier this month. New Zealand’s only female entrant, Tim’s sister Laura, was 41st in the women’s final. In the morning’s qualifying heats, Toby Scott missed qualifying for the final by a few places, while Ross Morrison withdrew injured after popping a calf muscle early in the race.
