Late last year we shared news in Compass Point of a new technology initiative and central hub known as O-Zone. We hope this will offer NZ orienteers an enhanced experience of accessing digital information on events, results, athletes and more.

We are pleased to let you know development of the hub has taken strides thanks to the expertise of our own Greg Bacchus in Auckland. So far we’ve focused on new designs to view and analyse results, enabling users to create their own logins and add favourite athletes, plus adding links to club information and social media from inside the portal. We have lots more ideas in the pipeline but we also want to be guided by views from the wider orienteering community before prioritising next steps.

ONZ are now seeking feedback from orienteers across the motu.
