This season the Auckland School Sprint Series has been running a trial using O-Zone to publish results and automatically calculate competition scores.

Race results are imported directly from WinSplits and presented in a clearer, mobile-friendly format. This makes it much easier for athletes, coaches, and schools to quickly find results on their phones shortly after each event. O-Zone also automatically calculates the series competition points, removing a large amount of manual work that organisers previously had to do.

The trial has been very successful. Over the course of the series, O-Zone has seen record usage with around 1,200 weekly active users enjoying the platform, checking results and standings.

We’re excited about the potential to expand this approach to School Sprint Series events in other regions, as well as other competitions that require automated scoring and easy-to-access results.
