ONZ Survey  | lucky winner & some key results

Summary of key survey results

228 members completed the Voice of Participant (VOP) Survey. Below is feedback from Sport New Zealand where they have compared our results with results from previous surveys between 2021 and 2024:

The results were really good across the board! Satisfaction, Value for money, Net Promotor Score (NPS) and Likelihood to rejoin were all above our All Sports 2021-24 results which is fantastic! Satisfaction for orienteering is at 78% compared to the All Sports 2021-24 result of 66% and NPS for Orienteering is a +76 compared to the All Sports 2021-24 result of +46, and lastly Value for Money is at 94% compared to the All Sports 2021-24 result of 74%.

Looking at what orienteering participants want to see improved, at the top we have 21% of respondents participation development programmes, 20% have told us they Don’t know what they’d like to seeimproved and 15% want to see Other thingsimproved (the most common Other improvement request is for “More Events!“).

Lucky survey participant winner
As the recent VOP Survey was overseen by Sport New Zealand, they have picked the lucky winner (as ONZ is not privy to the names of those who completed the survey).  Congratulations to Amanda Charlto from North West Orienteering Club. Our General Manager will contact Amanda to get the voucher to her.
