Many orienteers have been asking  on social media and in their local club news for rides to events or they are using their bicycles as a priority at the moment with rising petrol costs. If you have a electric car please offer spare seats to other orienteers. It is a bit tricky to ride to remote Nationals locations (although some people have definitely done this in the past), so we have built a carpooling form which was adapted from what one that Auckland Orienteers had shared. This is for members who genuinely can offer a lift and for those who need a lift. Get in touch here if you want to use it for Nationals. It will ask where you are leaving from, with dates and if you have a need for a lift or amount of spaces you can offer.
